Celebrate national Poem In Your Pocket Day on Thursday, April 26, 2012  The idea is simple: select a poem you love during National Poetry Month then carry it with you to share with co-workers, family, and friends.  Twitter and Google+ are celebrating Poetry Month sharing poems by using the hashtag #pocketpoem.  Poets.org sponsors “Poem In Your Pocket Day’ and has ideas for recognizing the role poetry plays in our lives.You can find a favorite poem for your pocket here.  Carry several copies to give out, add it to your blog, use it for your e-mail signature, share it on a social networking site or add it to our comment section on the post at the link here all day Thursday.   A poet’s autobiography is his poetry.
